what we’re all about
>>> Pattern-spotting. Truth-telling. Hearing what’s unspoken.
Our work is equal parts ops and organizational development with a generous sprinkle of “why are you doing all of that by yourself?!”.
>>> More hustle does not equal more impact.
Lasting progress comes from carving a clearer path forward, having the right support to execute consistently, and adapting when you need to.
>>> We’re not meant to stay stuck in survival mode.
We’ve all been there, but we don’t have to stay there. Let’s name the hard stuff, identify the opportunities, and GSD.
TIFFANI R. Brown
founder & principal consultant
People who know me say I have a calm, grounding presence. People who know me well say I’m a quiet storm. I’ve always been curious about how people and things work—and how they came to be. So I’ve learned to ask sharp questions with tact, and I spot connections others miss.
My past life as an educator showed me just how much opportunity is lost when organizations are under-resourced and overwhelmed. During my time as an elementary teacher, I stumbled into nonprofit operations after volunteering with an organization and discovering that the weirdly broad mix of work I had been doing there actually had a name—and was a real career path. Operations became a vehicle for calling forth the unrealized potential I saw tucked inside the organizations I served. My coaching takes a similar approach, helping leaders tune into what’s often already whispering & waiting to emerge.

I spent more than two decades leading in-house operations across a wide range of organizations as a Director, VP, Executive Director, and COO. I’ve worked with founder-led startups, global nonprofits, and everything in between.
From managing multi-year, multimillion-dollar grants to navigating a merger, multiple re-orgs, and large scale hiring, I’ve seen the beauty and lived the burnout of social impact work firsthand.
Along the way, I’ve learned what it takes to build resilient organizations that work for the communities they serve and for the people leading them. Mission-driven work shouldn’t come at the expense of our health or sanity, and I’m grateful to every client who has trusted me to walk alongside them as they bring that belief to life.

Audiobooks absolutely count.
I may or may not be in multiple book clubs.

My Covid-era plant queendom grew to almost 100. Now we’re down to a much more manageable 40ish.
